First-hand report

During my August visit to Rome, I paused at the black iron gate of Galleria Borghese, where a weathered metal sign caught my eye. The emblem of the Italian Republic and the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities was boldly embossed, a quiet reminder of the gallery’s national significance. That rusty plaque felt like a gateway not just to art but to Italy’s dedication to preserving its cultural treasures.

Marcus Cent visited Rome.
