Vatican Museums Guided tour with return Cruise Port Transfer from Civitavecchia

After debarking your cruise ship, please take the port shuttle service to the Cruise Welcome Center at Largo del la Pace. Upon exiting the shuttle bus you will pass through an area with several tour kiosks, where you will find the Big Bus Representative as well. Meeting time is before 9:15 AM. The meeting place is marked with a Big Bus banner and it is before you exit the port area. We suggest debarking the ship no later than 8:30 AM / 8:40 AM because the port shuttle buses can be overcrowded from time to time.

The transfer to Rome departs at 9:15 AM, and leaves Rome at 4:00 PM, arriving back to the Port at 5:30 PM. The drive each way takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. The shuttle will arrive at via Crescenzio near the Vatican State. From there you will be escorted to our meeting place next to the Vatican Museums. Your guided tour of the Vatican Museums will last approximately 2.5/3 hours. After the visit of the Museum and the Sistine Chapel you will enter to the world famous St. Peter Basilica using a back door. Your guided tour will finish here.
The return transfer is leaving from Via Crescenzio.
Please note the tour with the Vatican museum involves long walking therefore not recommended for people with difficulties. The tour is not available on Sundays.
