We start at the Piazza del Campidoglio (Capitoline Hill). Designed by Michelangelo, this is one of Rome’s most beautiful piazzas and a triumph of town planning. Now the headquarters of the Italian Government, this is the location of the symbol of Rome - La Lupa Capitolina (The Capitoline Wolf).

We also visit the Musei Capitolini housing the largest collection of Roman artefacts and art. The oldest museum in the world is simply stunning.

After lunch we head to the Roman Forum. Many of the oldest and most important structures of the ancient city were located on or near the Forum. We provide you with a uniquely Roman perspective of this wonderful ancient centre of Rome.

Next we visit Trajan's Market. Another incredible ancient site, it presents a living model of life in the ancient Roman capital and a glimpse of how people used to live.
