Romania – New Year 2020

We land in Bucharest where we meet our guide who accompanies us throughout the tour. Free lunch. Later we walk through the wide avenues of the capital called "the little Paris" where we can admire the buildings of the "Belle Epoque" and the different architectural styles that characterize it

We leave for Bran and visit the famous Castle, known as Dracula's Castle, one of the most picturesque in Romania, At the end of the visit to the castle, lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we see Bran's House of Terror, where 12 rooms can be visited, built to instill terror. We immerse ourselves completely in a scenario of lights and sounds that contribute to creating a mythical atmosphere; we also meet Count Dracula and Doctor Frankenstein, we can also see the prison and the torture chamber. All this is present in an itinerary full of surprises, which will introduce you to Transylvania, the land of vampires and ghosts.

Today in the first part of the day, we dedicate ourselves to a guided tour of some of the most important places in Bucharest, admiring the Arc de Triomphe, the Victory Square, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Revolution Square, the University Square. We visit the old part of the capital: the historic center with the "Patriarchy, spiritual center of the Romanian Orthodox Church and only the exterior of the Parliament Building, the second largest building in the world after the Washington Pentagon. After the free lunch, we move towards Snagov and visiting his monastery, we will discover the mysterious story. A popular legend tells that Vlad Tepes, the impaler, known as Dracula, was buried in the monastery that stands on the island of Lake Snagov by some monks according to the will of the deceased. The monastery hides many mysteries like the lake that surrounds it; here is the sepulchral stone that covers the tomb of the prince, but when it was opened inside it was empty.

Our journey has come to an end. Depending on the time of the flight, if we have some free time we can give a final farewell to Romania, walking through the streets of Bucharest, buy some souvenirs for our loved ones or maybe take the last photos that remind us of this magnificent experience. We move to the airport for the return flight to Italy.
