Sistine Chapel
The Sistine Chapel is a chapel in the Apostolic Palace, the official residence of the pope, in Vatican City. Originally known as the Cappella Magna, the chapel takes its name from Pope Sixtus IV, who restored it between 1477 and 1480.
Bramante Staircase is the name given to two staircases in the Vatican Museums in the Vatican City State: the original stair, built-in 1505, and a modern equivalent from 1932. The Niccoline Chapel is a chapel in the Apostolic Palace in Vatican City. It is especially notable for its fresco paintings by Fra Angelico and his assistants, who may have executed much of the actual work. The name is derived from its patron, Pope Nicholas V, who had it built for use as his private chapel.
The itinerary is subject to change if unforeseen activities or events in the Holy See or in Vatican City State occur.
