Piazza Trilussa situata tra il Lungotevere della Farnesina ed il Lungotevere Raffaello Sanzio, proprio di fronte a ponte Sisto, ricorda il grande poeta romanesco Trilussa, pseudonimo di Carlo Alberto Salustri. La piazza, in passato denominata "piazza di ponte Sisto", custodisce la bellissima fontana commissionata da Paolo V Borghese agli architetti Van Santen (detto "il Vasanzio") e Giovanni Fontana: è la seconda mostra dell'Acqua Paola (dopo la Fontana Paola), ossia dell'antico acquedotto Traiano, a seguito del prolungamento della sua canalizzazione per alimentare, oltre ai rioni di Trastevere e Borgo, anche quelli di Regola e Ponte.
