Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant'Angelo
Enter into the Castel Sant'Angelo and explore the history, art and secrets behind its walls. Built to house the tomb of the Emperor Hadrian and his family members, over the years it was passed on to the Popes who made an elevated passageway connecting to St Peter's Basilica. Now it is home to the museum with art, weapons and frescoes to see.
Enter the large, picturesque square of Piazza Navona and wander around the magnificent fountains, marvel at the architecture and learn the history behind the square itself. What was once a sporting stadium is now a public piazza for all to enjoy. Don't miss Bernini's famous centrepiece, the fountain of four rivers.
