We pick-up from any central hotels/apartments/B&B in Rome. If it is not central (a ray of about 8 km from the Pantheon), let us know its location and we will ask a supplement for the extra distance. If your accommodation is not mentioned, during the booking, please provide details regarding its location. If it has not been booked yet, you will modify the booking later by providing the data relating to it.

The driver will pick you up at your accomodation and bring you to the Colosseum, a huge and amazing feat of engineering. Here, 50.000 spectators could quickly find their seats, shaded by a huge awning, and watched cruel fights between gladiators and wild beasts.

After the Colosseum, you will see the archaeological site of the Roman Forum which represented the commercial, legal and administrative centre of Ancient Rome. Admiring this place, you will literally feel as if you were brought back in time during the Imperial age of Rome.

Palatine Hill
The impressive Basilica of Maxentius and the stately Arch of Titus will introduce the panoramic hill of the Palatine, where Emperors lived. It is the most ancient part of Rome, where Romulus founded the “Square Rome”, destined to become the world’s biggest Empire. Augustus, Tiberius, Maxentius and many others decided to build their Palaces here, among the remains of Romulus wall and the huts dating back to 4.000 years. His panoramic position, still offers amazing views on the Eternal City! Just the view of the Circus Maximum from the Palatine Hill is worth the tour.

Located between Aventino and Palatine, you can admire the Circus Maximus, the largest stadium in ancient Rome with a capacity of 300,000 spectators dedicated to the race of the chariots.

With your driver, you'll pass in front of the Mouth of Truth that sits under the portico of Santa Maria in Cosmedin. According to legend, if you tell a lie while your hand is in its mouth, the face will take a bite. Watch out!!

After the Aventino, you wil admire Piazza del Popolo, an elegant space in the northern quarters of the ancient city with the peculiarity of its twin Churches, Rome’s most ancient original Egyptian obelisk in its centre and the magnificent fountains of Valadier. Behind the simple facade of Santa Maria del Popolo, you will find incredible masterpieces.

No trip to Rome is complete without a visit to the Piazza Navona, one of the largest squares in the city. The space is incredibly popular among tourists for one primary reason: Bernini’s “Fountain of the Four Rivers.” Built to represent The Nile, The Ganges, The Danube and Rio de la Plata, the structure now sits amidst the artists who arrive to peddle their wares on a daily basis.

Next you will proceed to the Spanish Steps, one of the biggest tourist spots in the city. As you stand, you can admire the Church of Trinità dei Monti which sits at the top of a famous stairwell with the Fontana Della Barcaccia at its foot.

Hidden down the narrow backstreets of the city, Trevi Fountain is a secretive masterpiece and perhaps the most spectacular fountain in Rome. Built at the end of one of the famed aqueducts that supplied the Roman empire with water, this iconic setting attracts many visitors if only for them to toss a coin into its waters to ensure their safe return to Rome at some stage in the future.

Then, move onwards to the enchanting St. Peter’s Square, set within Vatican City in front of the famed St. Peter’s Basilica. The most iconic photos of this towering monument are always captured at night. At the heart of the piazza, lies an ancient Egyptian Obelisk, built in 1586. The square take its ultimate form almost 100 years later thanks to the inspired design of Gian Lorenzo Bernini who introduced the Tuscan colonnades that now frame the surrounds.

Colle del Gianicolo
Finally, you will ascend the second highest hill in all of Rome – Gianicolo – and admire the splendour of a sparkling skyline from this lofty outpost. Sitting on the western extremity of the city, there are few better vantage points from which to relish the domed edifices and beautiful bell-towers of this enchanting urban spectacle. Sights at Janiculum Hill include the church of San Pietro – rumoured to be the location of St Peter’s crucifixion – as well as a small shrine known as Tempietto, otherwise understood to be the site of Peter’s death.
