The first stop on the tour will be the Coliseum and fast-track access included with this tour means you’ll start exploring right away – no wasting time in the long queues! You’ll hear stories of the epic spectacles that were staged in this enormous amphitheatre and discover some of the history behind it.

After exploring the Colosseum, the tour will then take the short walk to the Arch of Constantine and the ancient Forum - the focal point of life in Ancient Rome. This is the location of the ruins of the Temple of Julius Caesar, built where he was cremated, the Arch of Titus, House of the Vestal Virgins, the Senate House, and the Basilica of Maxentius, to name but a few. The nature of the ruins will give you an idea of the social, religious and political importance of the Forum in the ancient city.

Next, you’ll see Il Vittoriano, an enormous white marble structure built in 1885 to honour King Victor Emmanuel II.
