Departure at 07.30 am from our meeting point or pick up from your Rome hotel from 6.45 am to 7.00 am for your bus ride to Naples. On the road to the South, you will ride the “Highway of the Sun”, passing by the ‘Castelli Romani’ pastures. You will also glimpse at the Abbey of Montecassino from far, the Italy’s most ancient monastery also famous for the massive bombing and complete destruction occurred during the Second World War. Once arrived in Naples, meet a local expert guide and drive through the town to start your visit of the Neapolitan main beauties: the breathtaking Riviera di Chiaia, Mergellina, and the hill of Posillipo from where you can admire the islands of Capri, Ischia and take stunning photos of this unforgettable scenario. Then we continue to walk through the historical center of the city, you will admire Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, Piazza del Municipio, the Gallery of Umberto I and the San Carlo Opera House.

After lunch in a typical restaurant based on Neapolitan specialties (pizza or pasta and water included), along with your expert local guide you will visit on foot the Pompeii excavations, UNESCO listed ruins. This ancient Roman city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, which buried and preserved the valley under volcanic ash for almost 1700 years. The archaeological journey through the ancient city will give us the opportunity to better understand how Romans used to live at that time.

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning after your hotel check-out, you load your luggage on the coach and start your coast tour including sights of Positano, a world famous village magically suspended between the blue sky and the iridescent colored sea, The ride proceeds along the legendary “Amalfi Coast road” up to reaching Amalfi, with its breathtaking views, for a free visit of this beautiful place featured by an imposing cathedral and narrow streets that leads to the old city. After the visit, proceed to Minori and Maiori with a tour leader on board. En route, you will stop for a tasteful lunch based on typical Amalfitan food.
