I was happy I was able to get a ticket through Viator to the Borghese Gallery, since they were sold out. The only thing I did not. know, is that it would be so late of an entry.
A wonderful visit with an audio guide

What a beautiful museum with gorgeous exhibits! I came for the Caravaggios and Bernini sculptures and so the temporary closure of the second floor because of refurbishments didn’t phase me. The Velasquez loan was a real bonus! I rented an audio guide which provided wonderful commentary.
Shame on Viator

We made a last minute plan to go to the Gallery and found these tickets at little more than double the price (since the tickets were sold out). Found out when we got there that the museum was being refurbished and only the first floor was open. Ticket prices were reduced accordingly by the museum, but not so by Viator. We paid 4x the price. Buyer beware!

Hot and overcrowded. Can't even enter with a cross body bag so have to stand in line for 20 minutes. Too many people in gallery. Park is unkept. Not at all what I expected

It's amazing, you should just go. Don't forget to look at the ceilings... they are some of the best parts of the museum. ♡♡
