We will spend some time walking through the Jewish Ghetto. While in this quarter, we will make a handful of stops in order to discuss the following sites/topics:
- The Cenci Family
- Monte de Cenci
- The formation, history, and desegregation of the Ghetto.
- St. Mary who Cried
- Conversion Churches
- October 16, 1943 and the deportation to the concentration camps.
While on the Tiber Island, we will discuss:
- The history of the Island

- The oldest place of practicing medicine in the world
- The death of St. Sebastian
We will make numerous stops throughout this bohemian quarter to discuss its history, architecture, and culture. In addition, you will see where Dante lived while he was in Rome and hear the salacious story of Raphel and his mistress.
Please note that if you are between the age of 18 and 25, you must present a valid Student ID to qualify for the "Youth" price. If you do not have a valid student ID, you will be charged the difference between the "Youth" price and the "Adult" price. This will be payable in cash, at the start of the tour.
