Overview

Be welcomed by your guide at the entrance of the Herculaneum ruins. Skip the long lines and start your journey at the discovery of the Ancient city of Herculaneum. Settled at the Vesuvius slopes, Ercolano was partially destroyed during the Vesuvius eruption of the 79AC. Luckily for us, the lava and thick ashes layers have helped to preserve the domus and buildings structures, and - after more than 2000 years from the tragic event - the Herculaneum site is now open to visitors. Walk through the ruins, get acquainted to the habits of the ancient Roman community and listen to the story of the last 3 days of Herculaneum.

At the end of the Herculaneum tour enjoy a quick break for lunch and have some rest, and get ready for the second part of the tour.
