Make your own way to the train station in Rome, hop aboard your high-speed train, and sit back as you hurtle towards Florence.
Arrive in Florence's train station, and head to meet your guide at the designated meeting point to begin your walking tour of the city. See the gorgeous Duomo (the cathedral in Florence), the adjacent bell tower designed by Giotto, the baptistery with its famous bronze doors, the historic Ponte Vecchio, and much more.
Then, board a comfortable coach for the trip to nearby Pisa.
Once in Pisa, walk along the city's Medieval walls and see one of the city's historic gates, the Porta Santa Maria. Admire the glistening monuments on the Piazza dei Miracoli – the cathedral, massive baptistery, and the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. A visit inside the tower is not included on this tour.
Take some of the quintessential photographs 'holding up' the leaning tower, browse the shops around the square, or sample some gelato.
Take the coach back to Florence at about 7:00pm, giving you time to catch the high-speed train back to Rome that leaves between 8:00-8:30pm. The trip ends in Rome's train station; hotel drop-off is not included.
