Overview

Canyoning is a sporting activity that consists of the descent of streams within rocky channels. The descent is done on foot and, in some cases, by using ropes to lower yourself into the vertical sections of the channels. The Forra del Casco is located about 100 km from Orvieto and is one of the most fun and exciting ones in Umbria. With a medium difficulty, also suitable for beginners, it does not require you to know how to swim.
The route begins with a 30-minute walk, which is necessary to reach the canyoning site. What makes it so attractive is the constant presence of water and a very varied path, characterized by 12 waterfalls and natural slides. Recommended clothing: sneakers and swimsuit.
