Either meet your guide at your Rome hotel (if transfer option selected) or make your own way to Ostia (a short train ride from Rome) in time for your departure time. Starting from the Ostia Antica ticket office, set out on a guided walking tour of the ancient port.
Learn about life in ancient Roman times as you pass through the monumental Porta Romana gate and stroll down the central boulevard of Decumanus Maximus. Stop to explore the remains of the Terme di Nettuno amphitheater, peek into the thermal baths, and see the Temple of Rome and Augustus, the Square of the Guilds, and the Capitolium.

Itinerary
Your guide will meet you at the Ostia Antica ticket station to begin your 2.5-hour guided small-group tour of Ostia Antica. Located just outside Rome’s city center, Ostia is a slice of Rome’s history not to be missed.
