Reviews for Ostello Villa Monte Mario
Marcell
Breakfast was charming, the rooms design is a bit old but it is not a problem because they are very clean. Staff is kind and helpful. You can go to the city with bus almost anytime. There are a few shops and brunches nearby.
Gladson
Very good buffet breakfast included. Very attentive and helpful staff.

Good hotel all in all, friendly staff, secure car park, nice terrace with a beautiful garden view.
An excellent location, just 15 min by bus no. 913 from Ottaviano, metro stop
Pavel

Very good experience!
Isabelle
Breakfast was very nice and a good addition. The room was clean, I just did not expected it one of the days and left my room a mess and I felt bad. I did really enjoy the grounds and neighborhood.
Marco
Cleanliness and hospitable staff

We only stayed there for one night, but it was a great experience. The place is huge and clean and you get to experience a different kind of accommodation. This place is a monastery with a beautiful garden. This experience is different from the usual hotel experience but it was very nice.
Clean and Basic. Not for travellers that are not willing to adapt.

The place is extremely clean. Worn down but, well kept all and all. We got a room with a private bathroom which I highly recommend. This is the kind of place you want to stay if you are going to go to Rome and get up in the morning early, visit the city, do your thing, and come back take a bath, and sleep. Nothing more. Breakfast is basic, a coffee and espresso machine, and counted bread pastries. If you think you want something more, I recommend going to "Le Serre" across the street for a delicious brunch or breakfast or taking your breakfast in the city. The nuns that run the place are more about getting things done, that actual "customer service", so don't expect the niceties of a concierge or a hotel. The beds are small, but work, if you are on a budget, but need somewhere safe, clean, cheap, and close to a bus station that will get you anywhere in Rome, this is the place to go. BTW every night you have to be back by 11 PM.
Great value, excellent location

Very kind staff, room with airco made the difference on a hot night. Very good rates. Bus stop to go downtown is right outside the property.

This is a very basic place to stay however peaceful and ideally located for our work.
