Antonia is the best!
RogerBowen
Antonio is the best guide I’ve ever had. He did a great job explaining all the rich history and he was so accommodating for my friend in a wheelchair. Additionally, Antonio went out of his way to help us find a good restaurant after. Very grateful for the experience and I would recommend him to anyone!
Unmitigated disaster….don’t do it…

Guide didn’t show. Agency attempted to fill in with non authorized tour guide after half hour who said they would “bring” us to another tour guide….at the Vatican… up a hill with broken concrete and cobbles…...but she couldn’t confirm the wheel chair would be allowed. This was a private, wheelchair accessible tour that cost over 600 dollars. Unmitigated disaster. When we got to the Vatican, the replacement tour guide wasn’t there. The agency employee said she understood that we were disappointed, but that there wasn’t anything she could do and suggested we join one of the tours that scalpers were aggressively hawking right outside…..you know the one next to the guys selling scarves and umbrellas and obviously credible, specifically handicapped tours…. We walked/pushed to the Vatican cab stand and took a cab (25 euros) back to our hotel (near the coliseum. Waste of 50 euro round trip cab trip. Waste of 1.5 hours of our valuable time in Rome. No one on the ground is empowered to do anything and when pressured to maintain the tour, they most definitely will attempt to bait and switch you and just have you accept it with “there’s nothing we can do”. Terrible experience. Absolutely avoid. Ruined the day in Rome.

How easy it was to meet our guide - he took us through the Vatican with ease and had a tremendous knowledge. I had sustained an injury to my knee so I had to be in a wheelchair which was difficult enough but our guide made sure we had the best experience we could.
beautiful tour and super tour guide. It really was helpful having the wheel chair and essentially a private tour!
