Our guide, Lumi, was very informative and interesting. I learned a lot. The tour lasted almost 3 hours.

Our small group underground experience was changed to a large group without underground access experience. Evidently TripAdvisor was notified by Colosseum admin that our underground access was being denied. Needless to say we didn’t get the experience we had paid for and we were disappointed.
Our large group experience was very nice and the tour guide did a wonderful job.

Lumi was an excellent guide - with her background as a history teacher, she was extremely knowledgeable. She constantly looked out for us on the tour and was very assertive in getting us through the crowds and skipping the lines to get us right to the good stuff. Thank you!
Enjoyable tour with Damian

Our tour with Damian was very informative, with some humour thrown in. First we had the tour of the Roman Forum in during a downpour but this had dried up by lunchtime. The Colosseum was busy but the underground section was quieter as they only let a certain number down each day (the guide doesn’t accompany you here). You cannot come to Rome and not visit the Colosseum and this tour was very well run from the communication prior to meeting and the tour itself.
