- St. Peter’s Basilica is an active church and can be closed unexpectedly for liturgical ceremonies or unforeseen circumstances. If closed, the time inside the Vatican Museums will be extended;
- Vatican Museums' Halls and Galleries can be closed unexpectedly for restoration or unforeseen circumstances. The itinerary will be adjusted accordingly;
- Guests must be on time at the meeting point. In case of delays of more than 10 minutes you won't be able to access the Vatican Museums and join your group. No refund is due;
- A dress code is required to enter the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements;
- Exact full names of all travelers must be provided at the booking as the entry tickets to the Vatican Museums are named and checked at the entrance to the site;
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Vatican Museums;

Three booked excursions cancelled. One before vacay began and two last minute. Inaccurate assessment of difficulty level. MUCH more difficult than described. Most guides were lovely. Would have think hard and long before using Viator again.

Alessio was an amazing guide and so knowledgeable. Thr Vatican is crowded and there is almost too much to see, haha. But Alessio made the experience manageable and enjoyable. Definitely recommend!!!

Vatican History Tour

Was a very long and hot tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable, but we felt like we took too much time reviewing history and less time looking at it. If you are looking for an ancient history lesson, this is your tour. If you are looking to walk through and look at everything, skip this one. We looked at a sign with pictures on it for twenty minutes and only got to see the actual pictures maybe 5 minutes.

Our guide Rich was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot from him regarding the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. Rich made the tour very interesting.
