A stunning display

A stunning display of the Vatican’s art, architecture, historical collections and St. Peter’s. Be aware that (at least when we went), the vast number of visitors means that one is shepherded along a never-ending, seldom stopping stream of visitors with little chance to investigate particular museum objects.
Sistine Chapel worth the hassle

The Sistine Chapel is worth the hassle. The crowds keeps you from being able to appreciate what you are seeing in the museum. Our tour guide was wonderful and did a great job maneuvering our group.

So much history and beauty in one tour

There are amazing sculpture and paintings to admire in the Vatican. Be prepared for the immense number of tourists and the long walks that the tour entails. Our female guide was very well informed, however, she had a very strong accent and it was really difficult to understand her.
