I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on tour with Tania – Her experience and passion for the history of the Vatican City shone through her every word and she was most engaging throughout the tour. Tania displayed knowledge, patience and kindness throughout the tour and she brought the history to life with her stories.
The tour was carried out in small groups which meant none of the group had any issues hearing what the tour guide had to say and were free to ask questions – from observing some other tour groups around the Colosseum and seeing people struggle to hear or engage with their guide highlighted the vast benefit of the personal touch of a semi-private tour. No more large tour bookings for this girl!
I would have no hesitation recommending this tour to anyone who is considering a trip to Vatican City – it was very well organised from start to finish with minimal waiting times. A great way to get a taste of how the other half lived and an insight into life in the Vatican.

We did the semi private guided tour with Lucy. She is very knowledgeable and answers questions promptly. Being a guided tour you don’t have to wait in the long lines which can eat up most of a day alone. So glad we booked this tour for the Vatican experience! Our guide, Luca, was so friendly and knowledgeable and made this a great way to see the museum and the Sistine Chapel. Directions were super easy to follow, no lines to wait in, and I couldn’t imagine doing this without a guide - he made it relatable and great for history buffs to novices. Group size of six was perfect as well. Highly recommend this experience!
