This was a really in depth tour - the guide Andreas was truly knowledgeable ! Plenty of time after to saunter around St. Peter's but too late to head up to the dome ... next time !
This is a must see site, the tour guide did an outstanding job of history and taking us through the entire area. It's a must see and we really appreciated not waiting time standing in line. This works!!!
Originally I had booked a 3 hour afternoon tour but this was cancelled due to insufficient numbers. Viator and The Real Rome company were prompt and efficient with their emails and we were offered a 4 hour morning tour with a smaller group at no extra cost. It is better to visit in the morning as it gets very crowded from mid morning onwards. The guide was charming and very knowledgeable, he did not rush us at any point. It is necessary to have a guided tour to get the best from this experience and I thoroughly recommend this tour - the one we ended up with. It was an amazing experience.
This was an excellent tour. The skip the line feature is great. When we arrived, the line for entrance was several blocks long, We went right to the front and were admitted immediately! The tour moves briskly, with not much time for looking. you have about 15 minutes in the Sistine Chapel. The amount of art and treasures are overwhelming and impressive, Would have liked to stay longer, but the crowds are just huge and the groups all move through in a parade. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English well. I would highly recommend this tour.
This trip was AWESOME and the tour guide was the best you could possibly ask for. I would seriously recommend this tour for anyone with any interest in the Vatican - you will be very happy that you did. Our group of eight was totally satisfied with tour.
