One of the best tours we took, and we were there for two weeks. Both Tivoli Gardens and Hadrian‘s Villa were magical. Our guide, Alessandro Vagnoni was the absolute Best! Wish we had met him earlier in our vacation because we would’ve loved to do many tours with him. He was extremely bright, knowledgeable , funny and accommodating to anything we requested. He was also a great driver. You can’t go wrong with him and this tour.

We booked a private full day tour of Hadrian's Villa & Villa d'Este & Gardens with Allesandro Vagnoni. Allesandro picked us up in a clean spacious Mercedes van that was very comfortable. He drove us to Hadrian's Villa. While walking among the ruins, Allesandro brought them to life. He then took us to a local's place for a quick & tasty lunch of pizza. We went to Villa d'Este & Gardens, where Alessandro gave us a wonderful & informative tour. Alessandro was very good about managing our time without rushing. He provided thorough information about both sites. We finished our wonderful tour with a stop for gelato. We had a great day with Allesandro!

Alessandro Vagnoni was both Guide and Driver for my wife and me as we took a private day-tour of Tivoli in Feb, 2024. As a driver, he was both timely and friendly. The quality of his vehicle and driving made the trip very comfortable. As a guide, his knowledge of both Hadrian’s Villa and Villa d’Este brought us clear understanding and appreciation of the history, function, and beauty of both these fascinating sites; each very different from the other. We would highly recommend him to anyone considering a trip to Tivoli.

We were in Rome for a week, had many good drivers and tour guides but Alessandro Vagnoni was the best! He is charismatic and very passionate about showing and teaching what he obviously loves- all about Rome and the surrounding area. Other positives to describe Alessandro: very energetic, honest, and speaks and listens in English fluently! Highly recommended!

Loved our day in Tivoli with Alessandro! We started at Hadrian's Villa and really enjoyed the tour. Alessandro is a very knowledgeable guide who provides interesting facts and stories about what you are seeing. After a great lunch at Ristorante Sibilla under the ruins, we continued to Villa D'Este. What a remarkable garden! Just beautiful! The stairs were killers though, so Alessandro was kind enough to accompany my sister in law to the lower garden level, while the three remaining "stair challenged" decided to start the climb up to street level.
We definitely would recommend Alessandro for any tours needed in the Rome area. He is a very personable guide who knows history and will make any tour interesting and worth your while.
