Negative. Negative. Negative.
My flight was delayed five and a half hours (obviously no fault of my own). I booked this tour for 2:10pm (was suppose to be in Rome at 7am). As soon as I found out about the delay I messaged the tour operator to ask them if I could rebook because I knew we weren’t going to make it with the delay (about 18 hours in advanced).
No one responded so I sent a message to VIATOR letting them know, but they were completely useless. They told me they would reach out to the tour guide to rebook.. only to rebook for a more expensive price with no refund for the original. I requested a refund for them to deny it. I understand this is a business and there are rules but I already lost half a day of my trip because of my airline only to pay $140 for a tour I couldn’t even rebook or get a refund from. I have booked 8+ other events through Viator and have had zero issues.
This company SCAM and they take peoples money. Do yourself the favor and just go and pay the $10 ticket to see this attention. Not The monstrosity amount of money they are asking you for.
