Discover Rome in a few hours, starting with a private tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Follow a professional art historian, who sheds light on significant aspects of the former empire. Then, use your skip-the-line admission ticket to the Vatican Museums for an insider’s look at famous sights, including the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica, followed by a guided walking tour of Rome’s fountains and squares. You'll easily explore the scope of Rome through a historical lens without the hassle of waiting in line.
Our local guide was very knowledgeable and fun to spend time with but to be clear there was only one guide provided. All the attractions were great to visit. However, The included list indicates there are upwards of four guides but that was not our experience. We started our tour at 1:30 and visited the locations noted. We finished about 6:30 pm so wear very comfortable shoes. It felt a bit rushed as we were pushing past the crowds in the Vatican but there were several tour groups there at the same time. The skip the line was great because the lines were LONG to get into each attraction. The last part of the tour where you are supposed to see various attractions was just a walk to the end of the street to the town's center. Good and worth doing but a bit overpriced especially considering it was not well represented that there was only one local guide provided.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was willing to cater the tour to our needs. Very good.
