Our guide Chiara was very patient, kind and helpful. She explained many interesting things to us that we did not know about the basilica.
Super recommended!! All the staff in Best in Rome tours were also very helpful and nice, thanks to Rippen my family and I were able to switch to the spanish group (we had booked in english because did not know there was a spanish one). He certainly went the extra mile for us, which is not usual to find. That made a huge difference in out experience!! Our whole experience was awesome, we super recommend the group itself!
Waste of money

Several of us expressed great disappointment in the “guide.” He failed to lead the group; he stayed at the back of the group chatting a few ppl up rather than be at the front overseeing/making sure we were all together; strangers joined our group and he didn’t even notice. Waste of money. You’d be better off going early and line up on your own. Wait time was 2.5 hours as it is not a skip the line.

Our tour guide Paolo was phenomenal! He was friendly, engaging, and super knowledgeable. He knew the history and architecture of everything out side and inside St. Peter’s Basilica plus more! We would request him for every tour if we could. 15/10. Best tour guide I’ve ever had.
