AMAZING tour with a wonderful guide Vittoria hopefully spelled correctly. She was a pleasure to be with on our 2 person tour. She clearly has passion for Ostia Antica, having spent a lot of time there during her training and every day taking visitors there. This is such an incredible place much better preserved than Pompeii and much older as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour. Most visitors to Italy concentrate on Pompeii and other archeological sites and miss this. Don't! It's fabulous. There is a lot of walking and I would not recommend it to anyone with mobility issues unless you really have the stamina. Wear very comfortable shoes that can get dirty. My feet and shoes up to the ankles were covered in dust once it was over.
