This is a Roman must see. The grounds are enchanting. So much history, but to touch it and share it is almost spiritual in nature. Rome is magnificent. A must see along with some many other place in Italy.
Really informative and worthwhile walking tour. Recommended.

The small group of twelve was a good size for a walking tour of the Caracalla Baths and an overview of Circus Maximus. Very informative about the monolithic Roman wonders.
Access by Metro is convenient but it’s difficult to get a taxi from this part of Rome. After a long wait, Uber did finally pick us up.

My partner and I went early in the morning and Daisuke, our guide, guided us through the Circus Maximus with ease. He had a lot of knowledge and answered every question we had. Given it was a small group, we thought we would be joined by others but we were actually the only ones which made it more intimate. After the first part we went to the Baths where he provided so much detail, even from the surroundings that arent known to most people such as the age of trees or the opera platform in summer. He also carried a book with pictures which gave us such a detailed view of ancient rome. Overall experience he linked both sites very well and we had a very lovely experience.
10/10, would recommend
Spoiled by uninterested guide

The idea of the tour is very appealing and I was really looking forward to it. With the right guide it could have been fantastic. Sadly our guide has been living in Rome for only 2 years and didnt seem very excited about what she was showing us. Some people in the group asked questions and the answer she gave was quite dismissive and having read up before, I knew they were untrue.
The tour has lots of potential but it was spoiled by a poor guide
