Our Small Group Pompeii and Amalfi Tour early departure is to guarantee a better experience of both Pompeii and the Amalfi coast that, during summer months are highly frequented. Leaving early will allow us to beat the crowds and enjoy an overall better experience. The tour features a private 2 hrs Pompeii tour with our local guide, including skip the line tickets, free time in Amalfi and Positano and a shared boat ride from Amalfi to Positano, that gives you the possibility to appreciate the enchanting landscape of the Amalfi coast from the sea. When, due to weather conditions, the shared boat ride will not be feasable, you’ll drive through the scenic Amalfi coast road to reach Positano. Enjoy free time in Positano for lunch and / or a swim in summer. After a rewarding day in this beautiful part of Italy, we’ll make our way back to Rome arriving at 6.30/7.00pm circa.

- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately, comfortable walking shoes and a windbreaker are recommended.
- Each minivan accommodates seven/eight people.
- Infant seats are available on request if advised at time of booking (children who are under 36 kg/97 pounds or 150 cm/4ft 9 in,must use proper child restraints). We reserve the right to refuse infants or children if we are not notified at the time of the booking and if the car seats brought do not comply with requirements by Italian law
- In Pompeii enjoy a 2-hour guided tour with our local guide
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Pick up is from Piazza delle Repubblica in front of Hotel Anantara at 6:30am. Please arrive at the central pick up point at 6:15am and pick up will be between 6:15am and 6:30am.
- All passengers pay the same rate irrespectively from their age
- If you book a private tour the pick up in your hotel is included. Please let us know the name of your hotel. If you do not communicate any hotel the meeting point will remain in Piazza della Repubblica in front of the hotel Anantara

Pompeii was the highlight and the Almalfi coast was a cherry on top. Long day.

Our driver was on time and fairly easy to spot at the determined meeting point. She did a nice job of getting us to and from all of our locations safely and provided commentary on some of the sites along the way. We also had time for a short break on the way to the Almalfi coast. The boat ride was just a ferry ride. Not quite what I was thinking or lead to believe. Our time in Positano was short but it's a small town. Our guide in Pompeii was quite knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the tour. He hit the highlights and explained in detail the ruins and history. I wish we had more time to explore the archeological site. But it was a long day as it is.

Roberta was amazing! While the drive was pretty long, it was beautiful. The van was very comfortable and we stopped a few times which made it very nice. Both towns we stopped in were about the same, very crowded but beautiful. The boat was running late, so our time was cut a little short and Positano. Everybody in our group really enjoyed Pompeii and our tour. There was great as well. I really enjoyed doing this trip with a smaller group as we were able to adjust a little bit easier

Roberto was our driver for our day trip from Rome. He was able to share information about the region and made our drive beautiful and interesting. He was a joy to talk with and learn a little more about the culture of the area. We then met up with Ciro in Pompeii. A 4th generation guide and local Pompeii resident. This was my second tour of the site and I learned so much more than the first time that I was there. We truly had a wonderful visit of the area and would recommend this team to all!

Anna was an awesome driver and helped us figure out where to go in Positano and Amalfi. Paulo was great in Pompeii and the two hours just flew by. Everything was just better than we expected! Btw the weather was perfect this time of year.

What an amazing day! Max, our driver was knowledgeable and patient; Cero, our Pompeii guide, was brilliant, and the sites were incredible! Highly recommended and ask for Max and Cero!
