Max our guide was great but i don’t think this is really for me. if you’re into history go for it otherwise skip it it’s not terribly interesting to look at.
but again Max was awesome & funny

Really enjoyed this tour. Guide very knowledgeable. Catacombs very large and eerie and some still intact. Some very beautiful and well preserved. 👌
Disappointing

Our kids wanted to add this experience right before we left Rome. They were very excited to see the catacombs. And very disappointed to find that it had no capuchin monks as seen in a lot of the advertisements. They felt like they walked through an empty pathway underground. They were very disappointed and I wish that someone had mentioned that the second and the third floors were the ones that had what they were looking for. It was very disappointing.
