Great

Definitely worth getting a tour. So
much good information. Our tour guide was great. The length of time was perfect as well.
Great tour guide

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour except for the fact that we were rushed through the areas of interest. I quess there was an issue one family had. And that put us behind schedule. So the tour guide had to rush us through. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency (passed out) just before we would enter the Sistine chapel..our tour guide was amazing. She supported us until medical help arrived.

Viator/The Tour Guy are TERRIBLE at their jobs

We were profoundly upset by the terrible tour guide we had today at the Vatican. My family and I speak multiple languages and have enjoyed many tours in multiple different countries. On this trip to Rome alone, we will have been part of four different paid tours. So it is not as if we are unfamiliar with how this process should work.
Andreina has a very soft, quiet voice which would have made hearing her difficult under the best of circumstances. But her outrageously thick accent and complete ignorance about the most basic principles of using a microphone made her presentation impossible to follow. I had to tell her repeatedly to speak into the microphone at close range, and the entire tour group applauded me each time. NO ONE could hear her. She kept her microphone a foot away from her mouth clipped to her scarf and so we heard nothing but the ambient noise around her and the rustling of her clothes. She took no questions, was in a great hurry to push us through, and concluded the tour a full 45 minutes early of the three hours we paid for (that’s a full quarter of the time).
Rather than being able to concentrate on any of the exhibits in the Vatican Museum, my wife, daughter and I had to spend much of our time trying to find our guide. It was as if she were a child we had to chase. She had seemingly no interest in keeping the group together. At the end, literally no one in the group thanked her and no one gave her a tip, BECAUSE SHE WAS HORRIBLE. We actually all watched her walk away and stood there comiserating with each other over what a terrible tour it had been.
This was to be a big deal for us. We were very excited about our visit to the Vatican, and our expectations were reasonable. We knew it would be very crowded. This is part of why we believed a tour would be helpful. In hindsight however, I dearly wish we had not wasted our opportunity to see the Vatican on your company. We gave Viator/The Tour Guy multiple hundreds of dollars for this “service” and I will tell everyone I can NOT to repeat our mistake. Andreina should find a different job.
Shame on you and your company for ruining our experience. I am quite sure we are not the first to complain about this. I blame her for an abyssmal performance, but I blame Viator too. Screen your subcontractors better. Please tell me what recourse we have. We are very angry about the way we were treated and I believe we are due a full refund.
Worth the money

The rain and the crowd were the only down
Side to this tour. Of course that was beyond anyone's control. Skip the line was for real because the day we were there, there was a line that was very long, people standing in the rain. Guide was kind and was good at moving us along. Very informative
Amazing but crowded

The tour was overall very nice. The Vatican is an amazing place to visit. The museum was unbelievable, and I was not expecting it to be so beautiful.
There were a lot of crowds and it was very busy, somewhat overwhelming at times, but that’s just the Vatican.
