At the end of the tour you can visit at your own peace the marvellous St. Peter’s Basilica, home of the Catholic Church, host of some of the major masterpieces worldwide: Michelangelo's "La Pietà" and Bernini’s Baldaquin, the ornate bronze canopy that sits above St. Peter’s high altar.

These people cancelled our first tickets. Asked for cash for to be able to do the tour. This is a scam. They did the same for everyone else. Even if you were 1 minute late. Avoid at all costs.

This review is very similar to the one I did on the St Peters Basilica Tour because both elicit the same comments. This was an awesome tour. Our tour guide Marco was incredible. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job of telling the story of what we were looking at as we proceeded through the tour. He pointed out many subtleties in the artwork and structures that you would never get without a guide. As it relates to the tour itself, I can only say it was breathtaking. You get sensory overload at what your eyes are taking in. The grandeur and enormity of the Museums and the Sistine Chapel is something that can't be described. You can only appreciate it by being inside. All in all the price of the excursion was well worth the money.
