Enjoy a full-day journey from Rome, through the Chianti hills, to visit the cities of Siena and San Gimignano. Siena is a medieval city, you will visit the heart of city and the central square, “Piazza del Campo” where the famous Palio takes place, a medieval-style horse race. Siena is famous for the wine and for its sweets: “Panpepato”, “Panforte”, “Ricciarelli”. Continuation to San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known as “The City of the Hundred Towers” Arriving in San Gimignano you will explore its charming medieval streets, visit the old center of this wonderful city where the famous Chianti wine is produced. Tasting of wines and local products in a famous cellar. You will visit the estate where wine production and grape processing takes place. the tasting includes 10 different types of wine with lunch inlcuded.

Fabulous even in the rain

Even in the rain, we very much enjoyed our tour. Our small group ended up being just my husband and I. The two Tuscan villages were stunning and the wine tasting was a dream. This was our favorite tour of our time in "Rome". We're so glad we got out of the city for this relaxing beautiful tour of the Tuscan countryside.
