- Please note that this tour is only available up to 60 days in advance, due to the nature of the tickets. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment!
- Saint Peter’s Basilica is subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
- On Wednesdays, due to the Papal Audiences, access to St Peter's Basilica is not possible until 1pm
- * Please note all participant names are required at the time of booking in order to enter the Vatican. If we do not receive the full customers names, we will cancel the booking. Every customer is required to carry a valid ID that matches the name on the ticket, or an entry will be refused. Name changes are not permitted once the booking is confirmed.
- * Please be advised that this tour option is non-refundable, with no cancellations or date changes allowed due to pre-purchased tickets. It is mandatory to bring a valid ID or Passport for security checks, and entry will not be granted without proper documentation.
- A dress code is required to enter to the museums. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.

I have done a Vatican tour before and was doing this one because my friend had never been, but this tour was so informative and enjoyable!! Our guide was excellent! She was enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable. It was certainly worth the money!!

To put one thing memorable about our experience just wouldn’t cut it! To begin with the line we were able to skip was so long. We would have never made it in. The breakfast was good. Our tour guide Tonya (Green) was amazing! Very knowledgeable and was so helpful to the very end ! I highly recommend this for those who do not have much time to spend and want to get the most for your money. I only wish we had a whole day to spend in the area but I was so happy with the time we had!

This was an interesting if thought provoking tour, with an excellent guide.
We did say to the guide afterwards that the instructions on the meeting point were in need of improvement. They say to meet at Via Tunisi, 4 . We got a taxi to Via Tunisi, having realized that we would struggle to get there and find where we should be meeting for an 8 am start. The taxi driver couldn't find 4, and in the end thought it was between 3 and 5. Fortunately a kind lady pointed out where we should be.
It turns out 4 Via Tunisi is part way up the steps, opposite what appears to be at the end of Via Tunisi. Viator could really improve the information about the meeting point be simply putting that 4 Via Tunisi is on the steps up the hill, opposite the end of the roadway.
