Pre-Cruise Option:
Optimize your sightseeing opportunities in Rome before your cruise departs from Civitavecchia with our popular Pre-Cruise Rome Tour.
You and your luggage will travel together and remain safely inside the vehicle under the care of your Driver while you sightsee so you have no worries but all enjoyed.
Pick up time: Your English speaking Driver will meet you at 9 AM at your accommodation in Rome.
Duration of the Pre-Cruise Rome Tour: 4 hours
Transfer to the Port of Civitavecchia: approximately 1.5 hours.
Post-Cruise Option:
Pick Up: You will be picked up by your English speaking Driver right on the pier by your ship at 8:30 AM. Drop Off: You will be dropped off at your hotel at approximately 2 PM.Your luggage will travel with you and remain safe inside the vehicle under the careful watch of your Driver while you are sightseeing. So you have nothing to worry about, just enjoy your tour!

- Your driver is not a licensed tour guide. Due to strict Italian laws and regulations in place to protect officially licensed guides, drivers can comment and explain attractions only from inside the vehicle. Drivers cannot elaborate on the attractions when they are outside of the vehicle.
- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and religious. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
- The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions

Absolute highlight of our trip & definitely worth it! Despite my booking last minute, everything from prompt communication to confirm to greeting us at the port with a sign (added bonus: he arrived early, & since we carried our luggage off the ship to save time, we were also early so we wasted no time waiting for him to arrive) to a once in a lifetime, unforgettable day in Rome was absolutely perfect. As parents of four teenagers, we appreciated the convenience of the post-cruise pick up as Danielle helped with all of our luggage. His English is excellent & he shared great knowledge of the sights both highlights and unique, beautiful places that we never would've discovered on our own. Danielle went above and beyond to make the day customized to our requests, including reserving the table at a restaurant with delicious authentic cuisine for the perfect grand finale to our trip. Our last stop was drop off at the Rome airport hotel as we had an early morning flight the next day, where again Danielle assisted with our luggage. We found the experience 100% reliable, professional, and most of all an unforgettable fun and educational trip for our family of 6. Grazie, Danielle per un giorno spettacolore! The views were awe inspiring. Manuel, our driver, was amazing in showing 4 tired people the best of Rome and teaching us about what we were seeing. We hope to see him again on our next tour.

Danielle greeted us as soon as we exit the port and helped us with our suitcases to the van. The van is spacious and clean!
We took a driving tour of the city and he provided us with great explanation of each site. We stopped to take many pictures and ate at local pizzeria that recommended by him, ate some gelato and he drove us to the airport!

Our driver Andrea was excellent!! He was right where he told us he would be in the airport which made for an easy and smooth pickup. He was friendly and very knowledgable and showed us everything we wanted to see and more during our tour and got us back to the port with plenty of time to get back on our ship

Our driver was very knowledgeable and had done research on the areas I had requested to see. He was able to give us a great overview of the history of multiple churches I had requested that were not the typical tourist spots. Definitely recommend!
