Unforgettable visit to the Baths of Caracalla.

An unforgettable visit due to the grandeur of the site and the size of its buildings. the social context of the time was explained to us by Valério our guide. Emperor Caracalla was thus able to be the first to mix all layers of Roman society by giving them free access to the thermal baths. The Olympic-sized swimming pool really proves to us the gigantic dimensions of all the installations of these extraordinary thermal baths. Valério was able to share his Roman enthusiasm with us during our walking tour from the Colosseum to the Circo Maximo before arriving at the Caracalla thermal baths. Bravo to this young student who was surprised to have to speak to French people instead of the English speakers he was expecting, and who immediately knew how to bounce back by expressing himself in impeccable French which amazed us.
