This was one of the best tours of our 15 days in Italy. I would put this on your 'must see' list while in Rome. It is so 'under-rated' in our opinion. Having been in England/Scotland and learning about Hadrian - we wanted to 'connect those dots' by seeing the tomb he designed. This site, had so many more 'lives' than even Emperor Hadrian could imagine! It is fascinating and so well preserved. Francesca our guide was incredibly knowledgeable (and personable). She stepped us through all those 'lives' ... and knowing our interest in Hadrian - taught us much more about him too! Best views of the city (360 degrees) are from the top - not to be missed!
