What a beautiful day we spent with our guide Achilles. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable to us. We saw everything at our pace and we learned so much about Rome. Our lunch at Mama Allegra’s was delicious, an experience that was so special. The car was immaculate and comfortable. We highly recommend this tour.

We had Claudio as our tour guide and he was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about the history of the city- keeping us engaged the entire time. We had ample time at each stop. We were blown away by our lunch stop with Mama Allegra. Her home is gorgeous with so many paintings that my daughter loved. Her food was fabulous!! The cheeses were so good, fabulous pasta, salad, bread, meats. It was truely delightful and my 18 and 20 year old really enjoyed the entire day. We were able to get cooled off in the van and avoid some light rain showers which was great. We saw so much in one day and enjoyed ourselves with Claudio. Would recommend and would book this again for sure.

My wife and I chose the Full Day Tour with DGS while on our honeymoon in Rome and had Ivano as our guide for our very full day in Rome. Ivano was incredibly friendly and treated us like he known us our entire lives. He took us to all of the popular spots to see all of the monuments as well as to a couple of smaller off the beaten path stops to see some of the beautiful churches around Rome. He was very knowledgeable about his city and was more than willing to answer any questions we had throughout the tour, especially with learning some Italian along the way (Andiamo!). We also had lunch with Mamma Allegra which was such an interesting and delicious experience as well. Mamma Allegra welcomed us into her home and provided a delicious meal (she's ruined carbonara for us because we will never find any as good as what she cooked!) and, again, chatted with us like she had known us for our whole lives as well.
Overall, we had such a wonderful time and we are looking forward to eventually returning to Roma and using DGS again for one of any of their other tours. Couldn't possibly have a stronger recommendation for their services!

What a wonderful tour and the owners are great people! We travel the world as airline employees and often travel last minute as was the case here. We booked this tour while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean and they were very prompt and helpful with responses and reservations after we booked. Ivano was our guide and one of the owners and he couldn't have been nicer. It was myself, my wife and two kids ages 12 and 8. We were driven around VIP style in a beautiful Mercedes Van with VERY good Air Conditioning (it was hot!). Both my kids were engaged in the tour the entire time. Ivano made sure my kids enjoyed it as much as we did! We booked this tour and a half day tour with a drop off at the cruise port the next day. Even though my wife and I have visited Rome many times, we were excited to see places we have never been, enjoyed local cuisine we would have never visited and met so man wonderful people on the way. Thank you for such a great time and treating my family like royalty. We would recommend this tour company and Ivano anytime!
