I only had 1 day to explore Rome so I booked the best - Eyes of Rome through Viator. When the nice black sedan picked us up at our Airbnb, our guide was sitting shotgun and started telling us about Rome immediately. The tour was supposed to be only Vatican-specific, but I felt we got a big bonus having a knowledgeable guide with us while the car moved from one part of town to the other. I look for and appreciate the expertise a Blue Badge Guide brings to the tour and our Guide ( I wish I could remember her name) was - knowledgeable, easy to understand, and thoroughly enjoyable.

Pamela was our tour guide. Her business card reads “Storyteller” as her job title. But she is an art historian and a superb one at that. You can tell how much she loves to educate tourists and is extremely knowledgeable. I recommend Pamela!
