Description
Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour exploring the details of this one-of-a-kind ancient city while uncovering moments of terror frozen in time, death postures, and ruins unchanged from almost two millennia ago. Stroll along the ancient streets where perfectly conserved ancient bakeries, shops, stalls, private and communal residences, public baths, and yes, even brothels remain!
Upon conclusion of the guided tour in Pompeii, we’ll visit a historic pizzeria serving some of the most authentic pizza Pompei has to offer (and remember, we’re in the birthplace of Italian pizza, so it’s a competitive market)! After lunch, we’ll make the short ride back to the heart of Naples for more exploring.
Take in the breathtaking view of the Bay of Naples from Posillipo, where the famous saying “See Naples and die” will suddenly make perfect sense. While Vesuvius looms in the distance, take in one of the most naturally and artistically beautiful cities in the world from a stunning vantage point.

Highly educational and overwhelming.

Feeling like we were among sacred memories and inside their lives before the volcano erupted. Wondering how lives were being lived at that time. Our guide did an excellent job of taking us to that world and time.

This trip was amazing.
Our guide Rose was funny and knowledgeable. She clearly has a love for her work and shared that with us.
From the moment we arrived at Roma Termini we were given clear instructions on where to go and who to look for when we arrived at Naples. They split everyone into smaller groups to ensure we had a more personal experience, each group had no more than 16 people.
I would recommend this tour and Italia tours.
Fantastic

Nida was a great tour guide. Patient, friendly. She was an absolute fount of knowledge and we appreciated her tip to read the “She Wolf” series by Eloise Harper for greater understanding of life in Pompeii.
Pleasant Pompeii visit

Excellent tour guide Paula spoke to the group and was very knowledgeable. Pizza lunch was very good, but they should add salad instead of fried food appetizers.
Very well organized and seamless travel on bullet train. Well worth the money.
Took away one star because the tour did not include touring, on foot, Naples. We were dropped in the shopping district and left on our own. The listed sites in the Naples description were not visited.
