Thomas was our tour guide, and it was just my husband, my son and me. My son majored in history in college, with an emphasis in Ancient Rome, and he thoroughly enjoyed this tour, but my husband and I did, as well! Thomas is like a professor, without the stuffiness. He is a storyteller, and that's what made it so interesting. Plus, you will see the remains of Augustus' home, which is not to be believed. If you take this tour, you will thoroughly enjoy it!

We have been multiple times to the Roman Forum and Colosseum and would highly recommend these sites to newbies to Rome. However, we wanted something different that we haven't seen in our many trips to Rome and the Through Eternity Private Tour of the House of Augustus hits the mark as well as the bonus site of the 5th century Roman catholic church of Santa Maria Antiqua. Brandon, our Through Eternity guide, was a wealth of knowledge and information on anything Roman, including some spicy tidbits that would rival those of the famous Roman historian Suetonius! He definitely enhanced our visit to these lesser-known sites. We were awed by the beautiful ancient frescoes in both the House of Augustus and Santa Maria Antiqua. Moreover, being in the Roman Forum and on the Palatine Hill is always a wonder - walking where the ancient Romans once walked! And views from the Palatino were outstanding! We highly recommend Through Eternity, this tour, and all of their tours!
