Rushed

It was hard to understand Monica due to the tour being 1/2 in French and 1/2 in English. She seemed rushed. In addition, we would have preferred spending more time in Villa d’este.
Beautiful area well worth visitng.

We visited during a downpour of rain. Some of the spectacular fountains had been turned off. We were all soaked at the end of the tour.
Guided tour itself was excellent.

Both sites were wonderful. Getting to Villa Adriana early in the morning was nice. The gardens at Villa d Este were really pretty. It was a disappointment that the lift was broken

Such a stunning and fascinating tour - certainly one of the top highlights of our trip to Rome. It was the perfect mix of history and beauty. Monica was a fantastic and extremely knowledgeable guide. I enjoyed listening to her. It was also a comfortable and short bus ride there and back, which we really appreciated after having a super long and tiring tour the day before.
