San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known as “the City of the hundred towers” and it still maintains its original features and timeless charm. Furthermore, the name “San Gimignano” is linked to one of the most historical Tuscan wines: La Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
Arriving in San Gimignano explore its charming medieval streets, visit the old centre of this wonderful city where it’s produced the famous Chianti wine. We will stop for Tuscan food and wine tasting.
Then continue to Siena, a beautiful medieval city in Italy. We will visit the heart of Siena and the central square known as “Piazza del Campo”, known worldwide for the famous Palio, a horse race around the square in a medieval style, twice each summer. Siena is famous not only for its wine but also for its sweets: the “Panpepato”, “Panforte”, “Ricciarelli”. Stop for a good Italian coffee and taste a typical sweet of Siena.

The tour was very good and it was great to get out of Rome for a day. Roberto our tour guide was funny and informative. Felt like a day out with a friend rather than a guide. The wine tasting and lunch was awesome. Loved S Gimignano but didn’t spend a great deal of time there. Think we all had way too much wine tasting prior:))

Comenzando con el gran guía Stefano muy agradable y conocedor del área nos llevo por el hermosísimo pueblo de San Gimignano para mirar la bella vegetación de la Toscana, para luego una muy buena degustación de vinos y alimentos en Torciano. Una suerte que Stefano conduce porque de ahí la visita a la hermosa Sienna para pasear por el pueblo e incluso un café. Luego de regreso a Roma muy felices y con ganas de volver. Muy recomendable
