We ACTUALLY went in March 2014. Ten years ago. My wife and I were just looking at the paperwork we found from our tour. We were picked up at the airport by Giovanni Musella and from that moment on for the next 8 days Giovanni gave us the best service, best tour and showed us so much more than we could imagine. Friends who have been to Rome many times kept saying "we didn't know about that. We never saw that. We've been four times and our guides never '' (fill in the blank). We not only had special access to many places, we were hungry and Giovanni called a locally known restaurant and go us right in. The women owner/chef only made two meals a night and they were absolutely the best meal we had all trip. Giovanni got us to the train on time. picked us up when we got back from Florence. And after it all got us to the Airport with no issues. Oh one last thing. We were out one night on our own and got lost. We couldn't remember the hotel we were staying at. We called Giovanni on his cell and he said give the phone to some one. When we got the phone back he said "stay right there and I will get you picked up. We were back at the hotel in no time. We have told our friends and two of them used Giovanni Tours 2 years ago and thanked us for days when they got home. On a scale of 1-10 Giovanni Tours are 20!
Great way to see lots of sites in a short period of time

This was a great way to see Rome if you only have had short time.
I appreciated that I was able to contact the tour operators before our trip to get suggestions on what to do. They helped me decide on what things we for sure wanted to do, and told me to order tickets for our must-see items like the Vatican museums.
Our tour guide, Patrizio, was great! He was right on time to pick us up from where our our cruise ship docked and then dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the day. He was helpful and flexible (and handled the traffic of Rome like a champ!). He made sure we saw all the things and gave us lots of interesting facts and history along the way.
What a great day in Rome!! Highly recommended!!

What an amazing day we had from start to finish!! We were a group of 12 and requested 2 separate Mercedes Van. Our drivers were Joni and Patrizio. They were both amazing!! They picked up at a cruise port with our names on signs. Patrizio was super accommodating with what we wanted to do. I think we drove him crazy as a group..LOL. but all in fun. (inside joke with Patrizio...your Co-Pilot Carol said Hi and thank you for putting up with her!...haha) Patrizio is very passionate about his job and wanted to show us so much but we had little time. He reserved lunch for us at a really nice restaurant and we trusted him with all food recommendations. The food kept on coming out in a timely manner and we were just amazed about how delicious everything was!!
The trip was perfect!! Reservation was easy and flawless with Giovanni. I was a little hesitant but Giovanni replied instantly with my concerns on a regular basis. I knew I can trust this company based on easy communication with Giovanni.
I highly recommend this company!!

Patrizio was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He was able to navigate most of Rome in spite of roads being closed because of a bike race.
We would definitely use him again.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to see and learn about all of the highlights of Rome, which would not have been possible on our own given the limited time we had. Giovanni was easy to deal with and very prompt in responding to my questions. He even offered suggestions for restaurants on the area near our hotel.
