On this one-day tour trip, you get to experience the beauty scenery of the ancient historic cities in the Campania region! You will be assigned a designated driver who is well versed in English, he will meet up with you in the lobby of your hotel in Rome with a first-class, air-conditioned minivan at 7.30am The tour of the city of Pompeii will be conducted by a professional guide, who will highlight the unique features as well as the most interesting aspects of the town. This tour lasts for about 2 hours 30 minutes Aside from Pompeii, you will also get to enjoy the view of the breathtaking Amalfi coastal road and then make regular stops to take in the sensational views from the cliffs, also getting the opportunity to take some amazing and memorable photos. My family had an amazing day in June 2023. We took the high speed train from Rome to Naples (highly recommended!) and our driver, Guido, met us at the station. He was great! A local with in-depth knowledge of the area. He was very friends and interesting not to mention a very skilled driver. The roads to the Amalfi Coast are not easy but he did a fantastic job. We had lunch in Positano, then back to Pompeii where we met Rossana for the highlights tour. I wish we had left more time for Pompeii as it is truly as breathtaking as everyone says it is. Absolute 100% must do if you are in central Italy. Rossana is passionate and full of insight and we could not have asked for a better guide. She went out of her way to engage our two boys (ages 10 and 13) as well and is great with kids. Overall, this trip was a highlight of our time in Italy and I highly recommend this company. Ask for Guido and Rossana if you can, but I'm sure all their drivers and guides are great. Ciao!
