- Your driver is not a licensed tour guide. Due to strict Italian laws and regulations in place to protect officially licensed guides, drivers can comment and explain attractions only from inside the vehicle. Drivers cannot elaborate on the attractions when they are outside of the vehicle.

Davide was amazing! Had him for 2 tours in Italy and was so haply with both. He was knowledgeable of Rome, it's history, and the areas we visited(Tuscany, sorrento, and Pompeii). Had recommendations for spectacular meals, and took us to some beautiful sites. Would recommend Davide to anyone coming to Rome

Our driver, Ricardo, was the best. My husband experienced a medical emergency while we were on our tour (May 8, 2024) and he made a tough situation bearable for me and my husband. I cannot thank him enough. He also handled the tour of Rome in an excellent manner showing us the city. Rome is a beautiful city and I highly recommend using Driverinrome to travel in the city.

Matteo is really good. There is a 90 minute ride to and from ship. I could never drive in Rome lol. The city is super crowded. Lunch restaurant was very good.

DriverInRome’s drivers were great – specifically Davide DePalo. I can’t say enough about our excursion with Davide as our driver. He started the day off by texting me saying he was outside our hotel ready to begin the day early. It started off what was to become a great day touring Rome.
