Reviews for Fast Track Colosseum Guided Tour
COMPLETE SCAM

COMPLETE SCAM! This tour is advertised as having "priority entrance" and "a fast-track tour, bypass the crowds". After standing around outside the colosseum with the group for an HOUR, we were suddenly told there were no tickets left and they were canceling the tour. We wasted time AND never got to see inside the colosseum. Absolute disappointment. AVOID THIS!!!
Fantastico! Radu is amazing!

We weren't too sure about whether to do the tour and I'm so glad we did!
We got stopped outside the colosseum and its easy to ignore but I'm glad we paid to have the tour - it was very nice to skip the long queue.
The tour of the colosseum was lovely. It was nice for our guide to tell us lots of facts we probably didn't know - unfortunately I didn't catch the ladies name but she was very informative and friendly.
Included in the colosseum was the palatine hill visit. We were introduced to Radu who was our guide. Well. He is fantastic. Very friendly and he is clearly passionate about his job. He was very patient and his sense of humour was brilliant. I loved hearing what he had to say during the tour and I learnt so much.
He even convinced us to do the tour of the Vatican!
This was also very good. You're given a radio (10 euros per person but you get this back from the guide at the end)
Our guide was lovely. She did walk a little bit too fast for our liking but I think because tours are on a tight schedule this is to be expected. It was very nice to jump the queue also as it snaked all the way around the museum!
This tour is well worth doing by a very organised company. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends
Top quality guide for speedrunners

We bumped into a tour selling lady at the colosseum. After sending us to the manager we still had some doubts about wether to do this guided tour or not. However, after some chit chatting with the manager we gained a lot of trust in this tour operator.
We bought a package for the Roman Forum, Palantine Hill and Colosseum for € 31 (reduced fee) per person. Our tour started within half an hour after we bought it (which was no problem at all, since the tour operator was a master at entertaining us).
We went through the colosseum with an Italian lady that spoke fluent English. After giving us a lot of facts and showed us the whole part of the lower colosseum, the tour was over. This was a little bit disappointing, because me and my partner would have loved to learn more about the colosseum and the remaining rings.
The second part of the tour was guided by Mircha. He was a very experienced guide who told us a lot about the Roman Forum. His English was very fluent. Sometimes he went a little bit too fast, but it was still very understandable. This tour took about an hour and was very informative. Mircha told us a lot about the history of Rome itself as well, which was a lot of fun.
All in all we had a splendid time and were very well informed. The only imaginable downside to us was the feeling the tours were a bit rushed. If you only have a couple of days in Rome and want to see the highlights in an upbeat speed, these are the best tours around.
Educational and engaging, a must do tour

As my three friends and I scratched our heads outside the Colosseum wondering what the best way in was for the least amount of money we were interrupted by a bubbly young lady who fixed us up with a $35 euro tour of the Colosseum and the Palatine gardens. Boy oh boy, it was a good one; very well worth the money.
Our tour of the Colosseum was gracefully done by the lovely Agnes, who's enthusiasm and knowledge of the building's history was matched by her many Russell Crowe jokes.
This was followed up by a fast paced and incredibly informative tour of the Palatine gardens by Mircea. He was so engaging, kept everything fascinating when it could have been dull and could immediately answer any question that was asked; not that any one had any because he covered so much.
All in all, these two guides made for a terrific day that was both hugely educational and highly engaging.
Palatine Hill, Forum, and Colosseum

I had a great experience. I only paid 23€ as I had purchased a combo ticket online for 14€ prior for admission. This seems to be a better option than paying the 50€ directly. Coming off the metro I was met by a promoter who took me up the stairs to meet the group and pay. I had a similar experience for the Vatican and St. Peter's and they were a lot less organized. It was immediate that I met the group and was in the colosseum within 15 min. Plus with the group the security is fast tracked and only one security point is required. The guide at the colosseum was a local roman and had great knowledge. The tour was less guided and more talking about the history. That was the only negative.
Mircha was our guide for the Palatine Hill and Forum. He was amazing. His knowledge and passion for roman history showed. I learned so much and the experience was great having him as our guide. had a great experience and would recommend.
