Our group only had 7 of us which was nice. Francesco was a great tour guide and took us all around the colosseum. We did the tour of the floor area which was interesting. Nice to bypass some lines.

Our tour guide was charming and kind and very helpful getting us in when we had forgotten our passports. We were very grateful for that! The tour was probably not worth the money we spent. I thought gladiators gate and arena floor meant the lower level. This is why I justified paying more. When I asked when we were going to the lower level our tour guide left quickly. This told me I’m not the first to be confused by this.
