- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please note that the tickets for this tour are nominative. We will register on them the names you have provided during checkout. Please make sure to provide the names of the people attending the tour as they appear on their passport.
- You will pass through strict security checks both at the Colosseum and at the Roman Forum entrance. Please be aware that security check lines are not skippable
- Flying drones and knives of any kind are strictly forbidden. Neither trolleys and big backpacks nor animals are allowed into the Colosseum. Glass/metal containers and sprays of any kind are also not allowed
- The order in which the sites are visited during the tour can vary; either the Colosseum or Forum and Palatine Hill will come first
- The Belvedere is momentarily not part of this tour due to COVID-19 restrictions
- A moderate amount of walking and steps are involved; wear comfortable walking shoes
- Please note that the group will leave the meeting point 15 minutes before the starting time in order to pass the security check
- This tour is subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

A terrible tour - do not use!
- The guide turned up 15 minutes late
- Tickets by operator were not recognized, so we had to wait 45 minutes outside of the Colosseum
- The guide was very repetitive, touting same info 3-4 times
- Only received 2 out of our 3-hour tour as a result of the above
- Was only in the Colosseum for 20 minutes
- Only viewed the arena floor, and not the other tiers
- We were informed that we would receive a 40% reduction - only received 20%
- We had to repurchase Colosseum tickets to get back inside.
Great tour, but be prepared for lines!

Fabulous tour and guide! Lots to see and great history. Note there is no more skip the line. New management has changed the process and we spent about an hour in lines between the Forum and Colosseum. Take water and hats because there is little shade. All in all though, was an unforgettable experience!
No cookie cutter tour.

Our guide was excellent, he promised a tour with a difference and it was. It was no textbook cookie cutter tour. He painted a vivid picture of the history of Rome that helped put the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill in context. The tour was a fall 3 hours and he had us hanging off his words for the full 3 hours. We also appreciated his advise on the best spots to capture that postcard pictures. Highly recommend the tour.
Don't go in the middle of the day.

It was good for the most part. Just hard to understand the gentleman. I didn't want to keep interrupting saying I didn't understand him. So I just kind of stayed and took pictures.
Colossal Failure

we booked two tours of the Colosseum, one at night and one of the underground, many months in advance via aviator for our trip to Rome in May 2024. The night Colosseum tour was completely cancelled roughly 2 weeks before the tour. Yes we received a complete refund however having planned for this experience and booked it months in advance it was very disappointing for it to be cancelled with little advance notice. the explanation we received for the cancellation was that it was cancelled due to the fact that the archaeological team of the colosseum delayed night access. It seems to me that a tour business that relies on the colosseum access for scheduling should be well aware of that schedule. very disappointing.
Additionally we reserved a tour of the colosseum underground via Viator and were just notified that tour will NOT provide access to the underground. We are going to be refunded 15% however the tour is overpriced and we would NEVER have booked without access to the underground which is what we were looking for. this tour is prepaid no cancellation refunds so we now have paid inflated prices for a regular tour we could have done much more cheaply. to my mind two epic failures. I would not recommend Viator nor either company nor will I use them for a booking in the future.
